EconoFil™ PETG prints easily across a wide temperature range and performs well even on standard desktop 3D printers. With chemical resistance and high heat tolerance, it's a dependable choice for both professional and hobbyist use.

 

EconoFil™ Standard PETG Filament - Print Settings: 200°C - 240°C 
  • You can also experiment between 200°C - 240°C until ideal print quality is achieved.
  • Set your print bed temperature to approximately 75-85°C (hotter for the first few layers if possible). If further bed adhesion is requires, keep increasing the bed temp by 5°C until it improves.
  • PETG doesn’t need to be squeezed onto your heated bed, you want to leave a slightly larger gap on the Z axis to allow more room for the plastic to lay down. If the extruder nozzle is too close to the bed, or previous layer it will skim and create stringing and build-up around your nozzle. We recommend starting off moving your nozzle away from the bed in 0.02mm increments, until there is no skimming when printing.
  • Print on glass with glue stick or you favourite printing surface.
  • Best practice before printing any PETG material is to dry it before using (even if new), dry at 65°C for at least 4 hours. If possible, dry for 6-12 hours. Dried PETG should last for about 1-2 weeks before needing to redry.
  • If print is too stringy, also try under-extruding a bit. PETG can be sensitive to over extrusion (blobbing etc.) – if you’re experience this, just bring in the extrusion setting on the slicer ever-so-slightly each time until it stops.
  • No raft. (if the print bed is not heated, consider using brim instead, 5 or more mm wide.)
  • 60-100mm/s print speed

Shipping Information

Shipping in Canada:

We ship Canada wide. We use numerous providers for our shipments. Large shipments, 50kg or more may be shipped by freight. Shipping costs are automatically calculated by the carrier during the checkout process. Any additional shipping charges incurred as a result of incorrect or incomplete address information as well as delivery refusal will be at the customer's expense.

All orders are shipped "Signature not required" unless otherwise requested (additional charges may apply).

All orders are shipped directly from our Kitchener, Ontario warehouse.

 

Free Shipping:

We offer free shipping within Canada - to select jurisdictions - for orders totaling CAD $125 or more before tax. To take advantage of this offer, please choose the free shipping option during the checkout process.

We reserve the right to choose the most economical shipping method. The shipping fee coverage for the free shipping option is limited to shipping services with charges up to CAD$50.

Free shipping does not apply to bulk or custom orders with discounted pricing.

Local Pickup:

Filaments.ca offers local pickup from our location in Kitchener, Ontario. To take advantage of local pickup, choose 'local pickup' as the shipping method at checkout.

Tracking Numbers:

As soon as your order is fulfilled, you will receive an email confirmation including your tracking number. Some shipping options such as envelopes or local deliveries may not have a tracking number.

Failed Deliveries:

Please note that in case of a refused delivery or if a shipment fails to be delivered to you because no one is home or available to receive the package, the courier WILL send the package back to us at OUR expense. When this happens, we will try to contact you and make further arrangements. These additional shipping charges incurred as well as charges to re-ship the package, will be forwarded to you, the customer. Therefore, please ensure that someone is always available to receive the package or pick it up from your local post office/courier facility before the courier ships it back to us.

Processing Time:

We strive to ship out orders as soon as same day for all orders placed by 2pm EST. Although depending on order specifications, it can take between 24 to 48 hours. Unexpected issues may further delay this process and will be communicated accordingly.

Out of Stock & "Sold Out" Products:

The inventory in our online store and the inventory in our warehouse are synced. When you purchase a product on our online store it means the product is already in stock and ready to ship. But on very rare occasions, technical issues might cause this sync to fail, and one or more of the products purchased might be out of stock. IF this happens, we will offer an alternative product or refund you for the out of stock item/s. Your order may be marked as "partially fulfilled", meaning we will immediately ship the items that are in stock and the rest will be shipped as soon as the item/s are back in stock.

Products marked as "Sold Out" or "Unavailable" are normally available again within 1-4 weeks. Feel free to check back or contact us for information about availability of specific products.

Do you offer local pickup?

Filaments.ca offers local pickup from our location in Kitchener, Ontario. To take advantage of local pickup, please select local pickup as the shipping method at checkout. 

Please wait for an email confirmation that your order is ready before arriving at our store.  We strive to provide same day fulfillment, but this is subject to order volumes and other conditions.

 

Can't wait?  Instead of opting for local pickup on checkout, skip the online order and come straight to our store.  Be sure to ring the bell when you arrive.  We can provide you with a hand picked order on the spot.  Visa/Mastercard/Debit only at this time.  We do not take cash.  Please note some items may not be available in-store due to varying stock levels.

If a local pickup order has not been picked up after 30 days, the order will be cancelled and refunded. 

 

What is your returns policy?

Warranty

  • Filament and Resin: If your filament spool is defective (due to a manufacturing error), please contact Filaments.ca within 30 days of delivery. We'll gladly send you a replacement at no charge.  Note that incompatibility with your printer is not considered a defect.

  • Printers, Accessories, and Other Products: For any issues with printers, accessories, or other products, please contact Filaments.ca within 14 days of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or return as needed.  This does not replace any manufacturer warranty provided with the product.  Items sold as-is or final sale are not covered by this policy.

Returns

We accept returns of unopened and unused items within 30 days of delivery. This applies to filament, printers, accessories, and other products. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs and a 17.5% restocking fee.  Unfortunately we are not equipped to process returns at our physical store.

How to Initiate a Warranty or Return Request:

  1. Contact our customer service team to notify us of your return.

  2. Ship the item to the address provided by our customer service team.

  3. Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund. Please allow up to 14 business days for the refund to appear in your account.

Non-Refundable Items:

  • Opened or used products are non-refundable, except in cases of confirmed manufacturing defects.

  • Products marked as "final sale" are not eligible for warranty or returns.
